We Have a New Prime Minister!

The election is over. It was a doozie, plenty of mud-slinging, quite USA style for sure. We can all be thankful and breathe a sigh of relief that HARPER is finally gone!
The environment destroying, program eliminating, racist promoting, 6 out of 8 years of deficit making, TPP signing, closet hiding, scientist muzzling, book burning, fear mongering bastard is finally gone! Hurray!
But.. Now what do we have? A young, Disney haired, pot smoking, drama teacher. Son of one of the most beloved PM's Canada has had, he has huge shoes to fill. His campaign promises were often ridiculed as unrealistic. So far however, he has maintained that he plans to make good on them.
Being Prime Minister after Harper, you'd think even a fucking lamp shade would be able to do a better job in comparison. While that may be true, I think after having the wool over their eyes for so long, the Canadian people now have a much more invested concern for the actions of their government. Already I see people having higher expectations for Trudeau, they expect more, he WILL be held accountable much more than Harper ever did.
Trudeau's looks have probably gotten him further in some areas of life, I'm not sure Canadians will be affected much by it. While Trudeau is certainly not MY type, he seems to be the type for plenty of women, and probably some men, all over the world. He could probably blend in on an episode of 'Friends' without being the freakishly hideous friend. That being said, it wont save him should he start pulling the same back door shenanigans Harper was pulling.
While my vote was not for him, I certainly hope the takes his job as seriously as it is and begins to undo the horrible mess Harper has made of our country, then builds upon it. Give us back our environmental protections Harper stripped away. He sold our parks for fuck sake! Repeal C51, this bill is a pox on our country, it strips regular citizens of their rights and saves us from nothing. As Benjamin Franklin said; "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserves neither Liberty nor Safety" this rings true with this bill. In the meme below I outlined some issues I feel are vital to repairing not only our policies within our country but our image as the world sees us. Canada was once known as a peacekeeping, friendly country, our reputation has been tarnished by the war monger we had in power.
Mr. Trudeau, you have huge shoes to fill and an endless amount of work to do, if you're really up to the task, you have the potential to go down in history and make your father proud. I will keep up hope.
